VA Sarah 60 Born in Ash Co. NC Sarah E. 15?? Born in Johnson Co. TN There is also a James H. Clauson, age 50, farmer, b. in TN and wife Susan, age 50, b. in TN and their 8 children living in Lee Co. VA in 1860. 1860 Carter Co. TN Census James L. Clawson 26 day laborer Born in TN Ellender 26 Born in TN William 4 Born in TN James 2 Born in TN Martha Potter 1 Born in TN James L. Clawson md. 7/30/1854 Carter Co. TN Sarah Ellen Potter 1860 Johnson Co. TN Census William Clawson 80 harness maker Born in PA Mary 38 Born in TN George W. 5 Born in TN Rachel E. 7/12 mo. Born in TN This William Clawson appear old enough to be father or uncle to Robert E. Clawson. In 1860 in Johnson Co. there is yet another William Clawson, age 72, harness maker, born in PA living in household of Joseph E. Vaught, age 41, farmer, along with 3 minors. 1870 Watauga Co. NC Census Robert Clawson 61 farmer Born in VA Sarah 70 Born in VA 1870 Carter Co. TN Census Jonas L.
