Quillen V.A. Medical Center Hospital following a brief illness. A native of Johnson County, Mr. McCloud was the son of the late Effie Wagner and had lived most of his life in Carter County. He was of the Baptist faith and a retired employee of North American Rayon Corporation. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Sandra and David Pugh, Jonesborough; Glenda and Bob Sams, Johnson City; three sons and daughters-in-law: Tom and Rhonda McCloud, Kingsport; Jeff and Robin McCloud, Johnson City; and Douglas and Annette McCloud, Elizabethton; one step-son, Gary Pierce, Johnson City; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, is in charge of arrangements. MCCLOUD -- Funeral services for Ray "Mousey" McCloud, 77, 141 Hughes Lane, Johnson City, who died Wednesday, will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, 1999, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, with the Rev. Johnny Jones officiating. Graveside service and interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Aug. 27, 1999, at Mountain Home National Cemetery with military honors to be accorded by Captain Lynn H. Folsom V.F.W. Post No. 2166. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Greene, A.W. Webb, Chet Little, Carl Murphy, Buck Church and Paul Jones. Everyone will meet at 10:55 a.m. at the cemetery for the graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, or at the residence of a son, Doug McCloud, 165 Whitson Drive, Elizabethton, any time. Tetrick Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
