Nov 12, 1888 d. bet 1934-1936. He was married to Lilly MAYS b. Sept 1891 d. 1964. She was child of Elkanah MAYS and Annie Mae UNKNOWN. He supposedly had brothers named Ike, Grant, and Joe. Family supposedly lived in Carter county at one time and Godfrey lived in Sullivan county after his marriage and had several children. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks for any info.
