That was a bit of information I picked up on the Internet and put it down for future research and since it was not in my direct lineage, have not pursued it. I have searched the 1870 census records for an Elizabeth Dugger with a daughter named Caroline and have come up empty. At this time I have not learned which Dugger she was married to before marrying Robert Clawson.
