Dawn and Jackie Peters who live around Carter County are the experts on most of the lines in Carter County. It was dawn who has done extensive research. Jackie's relatives are related to us because a ?greatgreat grandmother named Matilda Caroline TAYLOR married one of their relatives named RC BUCKLES. Matilda was the sister of my Sion TAYLOR. The thought was that Sion was named after one of the Pierce's.
