Elizabethton Star Archives: April 4, 2002 Roberta P. Bashor Roberta Pinson Bashor, 87, died Sunday, March 31, 2002, in Atlanta, Ga., after a brief illness. Mrs. Bashor was a native of Atoka, Okla., and the daughter of the late Dr. Murrell Pinson and Pauline Wrenne Pinson. Mrs. Bashor lived most of her life in Elizabethton. She was on the faculty of East Tennessee State University for many years prior to her retirement, and her move to Atlanta in 1991. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Deborah Bashor Ledford and John Ledford, Elizabethton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. David P. Bashor and Pamela Harrison Bashor, Charlotte, N.C., and Dr. Mark M.
