I am related to the following surnames through my maternal family line. The surnames include: Heaton, Odom, Lunceford (Lunsford), Stout & Markland. If anyone could help out with some birth, marriage, death and cemetery records, then I would really appreciate it. I will list those that I am related to below. Heaton Family: I am related to the George Washington Heaton family line. From George, I descend down through one of his daughters, Lorena (Lorraine) Heaton. Lorena (Lorraine) Heaton had one son out of wed-lock with a Mr. Davis. Her son was James Blaine Heaton. James Blaine Heaton married Susan Bowman. Susan's parents were Jonas Lefever Bowman and Elmyra Selina "Myra" Braswell. After Lorena (Lorraine) had James, she married John Markland in Carter County, TN. I was told that James and Susan had 11 children and I think they were all born in Carter County, TN. Some of them moved to New York and died in New York while some stayed in Tennessee. I have some of their names in my files but not all of them. Something must have happened between James and Susan because Susan married a second time to John Reamer (Rhymer) in New York. John and Susan lived the rest of their lives in New York, so I guess they are probably buried somewhere in New York. I need help with all of t! he children of James and Susan and where John and Susan are buried at in New York. Luncesford (Lunsford) Family: I am related to Ephraim Lunceford (Lunsford) and his wife, Eliza Bowman from Avery County, NC and Carter County, TN. Ephraim's parents were James E. Lunceford and Clementine Stepp. James Lunceford's parents were Enoch Lunceford and Temperance Cable. Eliza Bowman's parents were Jonas Lefever Bowman and Elmyra Selina "Myra" Braswell. I'm not sure if Ephraim and Eliza had any children or not. Eliza was buried at the Kawana Cemetery (Harper's Creek) in Avery County, NC. I'm not sure where Ephraim was buried at, so I need help with any children that they may have had and where some of the Lunceford (Lunsford) families are buried at in Carter County, TN. Odom Family: I am related to Solomon Odom and his wife, Linnie E. Bowman. Solomon Odom's parents were Abraham Luther "Pink" Odom and Mary Adoline (Adaline) Grogan. Linnie E. Bowman's parents were Jonas Lefever Bowman and Elmyra Selina "Myra" Braswell. Solomon and Linnie had 8 or 9 children. I was told that they were all born in Carter County, TN. I need to know where Solomon and his wife, Linnie were buried at and all of their children's names. If anyone could provide census records, birth, marriage, death, cemetery and etc. records, then I will be glad to reinburse any trouble. Also, any old family pictures/photos, tombstone pictures, family files, articles, stories and etc. would be appreciated as well.
