Swanner married Martha Price, 20 November 1892. He may be the same man who is listed as J. F. Swaner who married Sallie Pirce, 28 April 1895. He is listed in the 1900 Carter County, TN census as James F Swanger, age 32, with Sarah Swanger, age 24, George A., age 3 and Floyd H. age 1. The way those people changed tha spelling on every page is very confussing. To really know what was written on the marriage records you would need a copy of the actual document. I am looking at transcripts.
