Is that the McNeely Cemetery you are referencing? If so, then I don't think we are talking about the same one. If it helps: the cemetery I am asking about is bordered by the 321/67 before the split, old hwy 321, and Watson rd. The cemetery is on the north side of Watson rd. Maptech shows the Neely Cemetery due south on the other side of Watson rd. However, I have found the maps to be misleading from time to time, so you might be right. My mother discovered a headstone with the name Ilo on it in Buladean, NC so the name was used prioe to her own birth and recieving the name in 1928. Her parents were Hobart Campbell and Dorothy Mae Street Campbell, b.1910. We descend from Thomas Bady Campbell and Lucinda "Lucy" Harrell Campbell, would also like any information as to Thomas Bady Campbell's parents. There has been some discussion as to whether this line was allied to the Campbell's of Carter County. Dorothy

I did find John Swanger on a 1796 Carter County tax list in the Charlotte, NC library. Also need death dates for each of them and which county. Johann (the elder father,John) supposedly died in Washington Cty in 1819 and wife Violet changed name to Swanner for half of children. Someone else on a message board once asked in which cemetery they are buried. Please advise location. I could not find the Swanger/Boring marriage in 1780 Tennessee Marriage records online. Dr Swonger said there is an 1819 will in Washington County and posted part of contents on a message board. Also need birth date for their son,John Swanger, born abt 1791, (what county-Carter??)who married Peggy Stevens (or Margaret Stephens) in Blount Cty in 1820 prior to moving to Haywood Cty ,NC. I need documentation of the above for DAR application for my daughter. She is working 3 jobs while full-time student in college. I am retired and have more time than she has for research.
