Debbie, Yes, Elisha born Dec. 28, 1828 in Carroll County. Died May 1, 1902 in Fairview, OK. First marriage was to Rebecca Hannings, children Elvira, John and Susan. Second marriage to Sarah (Sary?) Pingleton where there were possibly 11 children (although only 8 located so far). I am a descendent of John R. Scates son to Elisha and Rebecca. Can find very little on Rebecca, born Nov 15, 1831 and died Aug 12, 1854. Penny
