He was born in Huntingdon, TN and was adopted and raised by a Betty Lewis who never married. He was told that his mothers name was Zora Colvet (not sure about correct spelling). We would like to know more about his family. He married Reeder Lovada Jones from Dyersburg, TN. She had been married twice before to Bryant Weaver and second to William A. Welch. Her parents were David A. Jones and Ida Barnes. I do not have any info on David Jones but Ida's parents were William H. Barnes and Cecilia Springer (we think this was her last name. Ida had also married first Winfield Springer, then David Jones, and then DeWitt Barrett. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
