Does anyone have or know of an Elijah Childress who lived in Carroll County? His family moved there from Marshall County Alabama. When the family moved back to Alabama around 1864, Elijah stayed. He eventually married a woman by the name of Sis. I have found them on the 1880 Carroll County census. If anyone has information on any of their descendents, it would be greatly appreciated.
