They came from Montgomery County, NC. They settled in the Yuma area of Carroll County.. Does any one have any information on this family especially concerning the wagon train? The Haywoods may have accompanied them at that time. Eva Batten married a King . James married a Stone. John may have also have married a King or a Stone. Will gladly share information.
