Lemmons, who first appears in Jackson County, TN on the 1850 census at age 35. I have been unable to determine where Caleb came from but I don't believe he was b. in Jackson County. I know there were Lemmons in Carroll County and wondered if there could be any connection. Caleb also had ties to the Sommers and Dill families. I would love to hear from any Lemmons researchers who might have a connection. Thanks!
