Hello, I am new to this list and am looking for descendants of J.R. McGowan and Isabble Rosalee Caldona Johnson McGowan. J.R. was a Methodist Minister b. around 1853 in TN. He married Isabelle Rosalee Caldona Johnson on the 4th day of December in 1877, Clay County, TN. According to a letter written by J.R. McGowan Isabelle died prior to December 1895 in Carroll County and is buried in the Old Hollow Rock Cemetery. I believe they might have had the following children. Cecil T. b. July 1883; Viola J. b. Jun 1884; Carlos C. b. Aug 1887; and Leona W. b. Aug 1889. There was one other child born around the time of Isabelle's death and I believe it was raised by others. Any help in locating descendants or information regarding this family will be greatly appreciated. Have information on the Johnson line that I am willing to share. Thanks Shelta R.
