Oh Boy, Tina, do you have any info that would show a connection very early between the ROWLANDs of Lunenberg and some JOHNSONS who lived there??? It would have to be before the 1750's as that is when Rowland JOHNSON was born. He also had a brother Claiborne.... this naming pattern of Rowland and Claiborne continues for many generations, and there is a Claiborne JOHNSON in Carroll County by 1840 who is part of this bunch. Other names that MIGHT have connected instead of JOHNSON were COOK, HOPSON, HAWKINS, FLEMING. Sure would love to find the source of the Rowland name!! Thanks Zou Feagin [email protected] </XMP>
