I am a direct descendant of Hugh and Narcissus Rogers Todd and Robert and Susannah Williams Looney, parents of Rebecca Looney, who married John O. Green. My great grandparents, Elizabeth Henderson and James Ferguson Looney (Capt in Forrest's Cavalry, CSA), are buried at Blooming Grove Cemetery just west of McKenzie, TN. Susannah Looney was widowed with several young children and married a second time to James Fergus; Fergus' will and Susannah's widow's pension record (Revolutionary War) are recorded at the Carroll County Courthouse at Huntington. I have few records for the Green family, but my records show that Moses Green was a neighbor and family friend to Susannah Looney Fergus and her children. Will post information that I have for the Greens. Also, Elizabeth Henderson Looney, my great grandmother, was a granddaughter of Narcissus Rogers and Hugh Todd. The Hendersons were residents of Dyer County. My copy of the DAR Patriot Index lists a membership for a Moses Green, b. 2- -1758, d. 1825, married Elizabeth Pede, Pvt VA. Elizabeth Baker
