Perhaps we have some McAuleys in common. My ancestor Daniel McAuley's parents came to NC in 1774, from Scotland and Daniel was born about 1775. He moved to Virginia about 1806 and married. They did return to Montgomery Co., NC in 1812- 1816.In 1832 he and his family moved to Hendricks Co.,IN. and by 1839 moved to Grant Co., WI Territory.
