He was married twice, with both wives apparently named Margaret. The first was Margaret Morris. I don't know the maiden name of the second. I know he was in the Carroll Co area for a period of time, but I am not sure he stayed there. General Hawkins served in Maryland during the War of 1812 and left shortly afterwards. I know his daughter is connected to the Gee Family and at least one son was here. Any information would be welcome.
