I don't know where he came from but, he lived in Izard County, Arkansas until he died 1913 or 1918 buried at Staggs Cemetery with his second wife. His children were Jackson F. Pruitt, Mary F. Pruitt-Hall. We have been trying to trace David Elisha Pruitt's origin. Could this be the same person?

TN my great grandfather their first son Samuel Leonard was 11 mo old on the 1840 Carroll Co. Census. Family history says Martha's father or grandfather was a Samuel.

I am searching for info. relative to Iverson L Brooks who came to Tennesse about 1849-1850 and I think attended law school there somewhere. He married a Bettie A Lee or Lea in 1857-59 somewhere in Tennessee, she was born in TN in 1843 ? They were in Arkansas by 1860 with 2 children. Iverson l Brooks came from Caswell Co NC. Any info is helpfull, especially for Bettie (Elizabeth?) The youngest child was a daughter, Era born about 1910 where born is unknown, could have been Bemis, Madison Co. TN. There were at least three other boys. What were there names? When were they born.
