The son of Alfred Harris (abt 1812-1889) and Amerody Clark (1838-1910)? If so, I don't believe my Harrises connect with John & Adder Harris. My Harris line comes from James & Cena Hackworth Harris who settled in Decatur Co TN in the late 1790s to early 1800s. Their grandson, and my gr-gr-grandfather, James Hackworth "Watt" Harris (1853-1933) of Henderson Co TN married Susan Elizabeth Bradford (1854-1924) of Carroll Co TN in 1874 in Carroll Co. Susan was the daughter of James Franklin Bradford and Elizabeth McLain/Hammett.

Their children were Mary Belle who married Charles Anderson Bawcum, Dolly Elizabeth who married James (Jim) Ervin Baker, Dock David Dewitt, and Sarah (Sally) who married Greenberry Pinkley Baker. Tillman 1827 in Chatham Co. NC he died Aug.16,1881 in Carroll Co. Tenn he is buried at Shiloah Cementary, McKenzie, Tenn. Sterling had a brother named Daniel Huff born 1815 I am trying to find Sterling's parents.
