That note about the lug nuts reminded me of something. This sales man was going down a country road and had a flat. He pulled off the road as much as possible since it was on the driver's side. He got the lug nuts off and put them in the hubcap. He removed the tire and proceeded to the rear of the vehicle to get the spare. Just about that time a truck came by and hit the edge of the hubcap and the lugnuts went flying. The Salesman went looking for them and could not find a one of them. So he put the spare on and just waited. When he walked around the vehicle, he noticed a sign on the fence running along the road. It said State Mental Hospital. He looked on down the way and noticed a gentleman hanging over the edge of the fence from the oppisit side. Eventually the man worked his way down the fence towards the car. The Salesman tried not to notice him. Finally the man said " Hey, you having problems ? " The Salesman told him what happened. The man replied " Well if you take one lug nut from the other three wheels and put it on the spare you just put on, that will get you down the road safely until you can get more. " The Salesman did it and was amazed !!! He turned to the other man and said, " Hey, if you are so smart, how come you are in that place ?
