    1. [TNCANNON] Care & Share Days Adams Memorial Library
    2. To Joe and All, There are two areas available to visitors at the Adams Library in Woodbury. The Genealogy Room is upstairs and is small. For those wishing to do research in source materials available at the library, the Genealogy Room is where you will want to go and the policies pertaining to entry are as explained in the posting I made of Peggy Tate's e-mail. For those wishing to meet and share, the basement of the library is being made available. This is a much larger room and will be equipped with tables, chairs, etc. to make it convenient for those wishing to work with others and share what they have. This room is also accessible directly from the outside by a walkway that connects to the main street. (College Street). I would suggest maybe entering here first if you have notebooks, lap tops, etc. You could leave them in the basement for later use and then visit the Genealogy Room if you wish and then return to the basement for what meetings you have planned. Just remember, the basement is the "Meet and Share" area for these days. The Genealogy Room (upstairs) will be for those patrons who wish to see what the Adams Library has available and to do actual research. Please note an additional e-mail from Peggy Tate below: The basement room is being offered for what ever researchers plan to swap or show and tell on Saturday and Monday. Entrance can be made down the side walk under the magnolia tree without going upstairs first. Hours are 9 - 4 Peggy Wilson Tate You will find the Genealogy Room is not condusive for a public gathering. It is a research room. The basement is being made available for this event and is large enough to accommodate a good number of people. I'm looking forward to meeting those that attend on Saturday. Have a great trip and I hope you enjoy visiting Cannon County!
