Kevin: Cornelius Brandon (b.c1783-d. 11 Dec 1852) , was a War of 1812 veteran (Private w/ W. TN Volunteers, 2 Reg't Mounted Gunmen). No verifying info on actual burial but presumed to be buried in Simpson Cemetery because of close proximity to his farm and where his oldest daughter was already buried. A Veterans Administration government marker was placed in Simpson Cemetery by descendants in 1993.
