My uncle, Havey Carrick, was the son of Andy Smith Carrick. Harvey bought a tombstone for his father years after he died. He never knew his father. Harvey lived with his grandfather, Zachariah Moore, most of his younger years. This was around the Cherry Cemetery area The death date is probably wrong. Andy had to die about 1898 or 1899.
