Diane re father of William J. Brandon (who married Mary Elizabeth Burk): As noted in Kevin's posting of Joseph A. Brandon's family in 1850 census, William's father was Joseph Armstrong Brandon and his mother was Sarah (Sallie) Tenpenny. In addition to brother, Andrew Jackson Brandon, William had total of 4 sisters and 5 brothers. William's middle name was James.

I am trying to find information on Andrew J. Brandon. He served as pastor of First Baptist Church in Tullahoma in 1885.
