Buried at Gilley Hill Cem..The name on the tombstone is Cawthan.His wife is Sarah Smith b; Jan. 19,1812,NC d; Dec.17,1893, also buried at Gilley Hill Cem. Their childrens ar William(Bill) b;1832; Pleasant abt 1833; David 1836; Jane 1838; Mary 1839; James 1841. James and Sarah own a lot of land in Cannon co. James was also a gunsmith. I have run into a brickwall on finding out who his parents are. I appreciate any help I can get.
