I have had both. Enjoyed both, until hours later !! Do they still have graveyard cleaning at the Cherry Cemetery ? When I was young in the 1960's, I went with my Aunt there. Just remember going down this gravel road and the Cemetery was on the right. Seeemed like it went dongrade. There was a house across the street and these young children watched us from the porch. Mostly just picked up the sticks and trash paper. Had a picnic basket with lunch in it. Seems like it was a gathering for my Aunts and Uncles there. Some lived in Cannon. Most lived in Bedford County. My Aunt died in 1970. She thought it was a BIG Thing to go shopping in downtown Murfreesboro or Tulahoma. She had only been to Nashville once in her lifetime. You would have thought the way she talked, she had been to New York. Made these little cakes called tea cakes. I think they were made from Vanilla Cake Mix. I can still taste them. I remember when they buried her, they did not have a vault. They put the casket in the ground and then they put gavelnized sheets over the top of it. Like half circles used indrain pipes. My uncle said it would keep the dirt in place and keep the grave from sinking later on since it would not rust. Ever seen that done down there ?
