Tea Cakes 1 cup shortening 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 2 cups flour 1 teas.vanilla Melt shortening,let cool.Mix all ingr.together.Roll out small ball shapes.mash with a fork.Let cook at 300 degrees untill lighty brown. Even though these are called Tea Cakes,I think grandaddy ate them with coffee.They are not very sweet.I do not drin tea or coffee so Idrink milk with them.
