Kevin, my 4th great grandfather Samuel Burk(s), of Cannon Co. TN, had a daughter Mary Elizabeth Burk(s) born 18 Sep 1837. She married William J. Brandon born 12 Sep 1831 in Warren Co. TN. They both died in Christianna, TN. Their children were Roxanne, Joseph, Nancy, Andrew, Alford, and Isham. I believe William's brother was Andrew Jackson Brandon b. 1841. Do you by chance know who was the father of William J. Brandon? The Brandon's are not in my direct line but sometimes these families moved together and tracing the Brandon's might help me with my Burks. Samuel Burk was born in Rowan Co., NC.
