Merideth, I just checked the 1910 Census, and I have John & Florence in Woodbury, TN with two sons, Lebran, and Raymond. It's showing John being 28, and Florence being 21. Same ones? Bobby Lykins That is them. And those ages are more in line with John's death certificate and their grave markers. But I am still confused about that one census. Also, the death certificate has John's mother as Jane Merriman. I found a Sarah J. Allen living with her parents - Merrimans. She is 21 and widowed. But here is the tricky part she has an 11 month old named William F. Allen but the baby is to old to be John. And then ten or twenty years later I found a census with the Grand Parents ( Sarah J.'s parents) and living with them are 3 of their grandchildren all Allens one of them William and one John - birth year matches but no Sarah J. Allen listed. So how is it she was a widow with one Allen child and then years later - she appearantly has two more Allen children but then she comes up missing. This one has really stumped me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks, Merideth K. Allen --------------------------------- Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. PC-to-Phone calls for ridiculously low rates.
