    3. Jess, I have a few Cannon County cems on my site, and if life will ever slow down a while, I have a few more to add. Patsy Patterson and others have sent me the pictures, I just have to find time around three kids to get them online. Go to http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~rutherfordcemetery and there is a search page for you to search the surnames on the page. Most of the cemeteries are from Rutherford County. I will gladly add any Cannon County cemetery pics, but you have to be very patient. Also will gladly link to any page you create. 3. Nice site, Teresa. I'm way down here in Texas and can't help out. But, I think recording and preserving cemeteries I'm looking for my elusive Dr. James E. Arnett who was a life member of Short Mountain Methodist Church. He probably died just before Aug. 1, 1913. (There is a Deed dated Aug. 1, 1913, which gives family information and disposition of his property, but only says that he was "recently deceased". ) I understand that there are no death records for TN for 1913. Some of his family are buried in the Gunter-Grizzle Cemetery. However, he has brothers buried in McMullen Cemetery in Henderson County, KY. (Of course, that's where the brothers, parents, and grandparents lived.) His last wife, Rhoda C. Melton Arnett, is buried in Kerens, Navarro county, Texas. Which is where she and daughter, Emma, moved after Dr. Arnett died. Several sons had already moved to Texas. I also have a Sam Arnett, one of Dr. Arnett's sons who moved to Texas, as is shown in one of the tombstones in the Rutherford County Arnett Cemetery on your site. However, my Sam Arnett, died in Hearne, Texas and is buried, with his wife, Jessie, in Eagle Lake, Texas. (He, too, had lived at Powell, Texas in Navarro county, at one point.) Sam worked for the railroad. I know that you must be really busy with three children, but what great times you must have! Hope you have a beautiful Easter with them! 3. I'll keep my eyes open. Once I do get some more online, I'll let everyone know too. We do stay busy especially this time of the year with the end of the school year stuff. I was born to be forty though, so I am loving every minute of it. Glad you liked the site. It started with my family cemeteries and has really grown from there. It's not just me though and without the dedicated people taking the cemeteries, it would never have grown like it has. I live in Alabama, so getting the pictures isn't all that easy for me. I owe a lot of thanks to the people who do the photography. At the top of each page is the contact information for the people who actually do the legwork. Be sure and drop them a line of thanks if you find your family. If you get a bounced email, let me know so I can fix the link. They deserve all the praise for doing the work, since most of them are not related to the cemeteries they do.
