A phone call w/ cousin Kokomo John Sissom made me aware of FOUR near contemporary Calvin Dukes vs. the 1 I was carrying as the father of Horace, son of William Parham Duke & Cynthia Morgan. I am not sure I have the right Calvin. This brings into question whether the line of Mordecai > Epps Duke or Wm. Green Duke is involved. I am also concerned about the line of Gideon, b.1822 who also produced some Sissom desc. Who wants to help me sort out this multitude of Dukes? To add to the interest, the Wm. Parham > Wm. Green line owned property adj. to that of Thomas SissoN, the progenitor of the SissoMs in TN, in Brunswick Co., VA. Further, this Tom was appointed guardian of a PARHAM minor and we have long suspected that his wife is a Parham. Coincidnce???? Nah -- don't believe in 'em. Joe Sissom
