    3. Here's the transcription of the probate record that makes the case that A. J. Inglish who died in 1858 was the husband of Emeline Dickems. In 1860 Census Emeline is living with her two children in her father's household. Rutherford Co Record Book 21, page 24 A. J. Inglish Probate File A.J. Inglish Dec'd We the Commissioners appointed by the County Court at the July Term 1858 to set apart one year's provisions for Emaline Inglish the widow of the late A.J. Inglish Dec'd. We set apart the following articles (to wit 200# of Baken & 700 # of pork, 30 Barrels of corn out of new crop, 10 Bushels of wheat, 50# of coffee, 100# Sugar, $20 in money to supply any deficiencies in the above articles and to furnish other articles necessary not named to be paid by adm't, to the said widow. Given under our hands this 23rd July 1858. Signed and sworn to before me J.D. Gelmone S G Miller JP for said Co. Herman Pearson J. D Bingham Another part of the record deals with the sale of A.J.'s possessions, where there are listed boxes of medicines, pills, tooth drawers, surgical instruments, etc, so I think he might have been the physician listed in the 1850 Bradyville Census. If so the "A" is probably for Andrew. I would like to find this marriage record (12-12-1850 Coffee Co.) but it is elusive. Next problem is parents for Andrew.
