It is one of the rare towns in America that I've visited that still has that Mayberry feeling to it. The local restaurant closes when the owner goes on vacation. Old men still gather around the courthouse steps playing checkers. Lots of the roads are still dirt. The mountains and the scenery there are awesome. The only thing I'm frustrated with and I hope someone can do something about this, is that tons of their old records, there and in McMinnville, are stored in the basement and I'm told it's damn and wet down there. So Our families history is slowly being ruined, lost and forgotton. Dotti
