Hi Betty, I have William Armstrong Knox m. Mary Ann (Polly) Fagan, their daughter was my Sarah Jane Knox b. 1839 in TN. William was in the line from John Knox and Jean Gracey mentioned by Dottie, maybe my Sarah Jane was named after the earlier one Dottie mentions. I also have a Sarah Fagan, parents Robert Lanier Fagan and Martha (Patsy) Gibson who m. Thomas Cook McLoud (or McCloud) with children Nancy Jane b. 1836 and son Joseph, date unknown. If you are interested in that Knox line, there is an incredible hand written family tree (yes, in the shape of a tree) starting from the base with John Knox and Jean Gracey (1708), branching up with their 8 children, and up through many generation, ending with my fathers generation (born 1926). It has names but no dates, but is about 5' tall and 3'+ wide, and an incredible work. Is any of that any help?
