Ireland is covered with stone fences. In the west of Ireland many road ways are single lane between the stone fences. Always looking a head for traffic so as to take advantage of narrow turn outs. It must have been back breaking work to clear those plots for pastures or crops. Ireland is high on my list as one of the most beautiful places in this world.
