Ellie, The Lemmons family that is traced in the book are the descendants of John Lemmons and Elizabeth Morgan the daughter of John Morgan. They were married in Montgomery County, Virginia and moved to Warren County, Tennessee about the same time that John Morgan moved there. Many of the Lemmons descendants soon moved to other states.
