Charles, I am unaware of any roadside stands continuing this during this day and time. A few of the antique shops may still have a rock or two sitting around that they per chance might sell to someone who finds them of interest. Geodes were once quite popular as they apparently appear only in a few places around the country. There are still some examples around Woodbury where these were used in rock columns and walls. Two massive rock columns of cut geodes stand at the beginning of Houston Lane which leads up to our county highschool. They are more a geological oddity than anything. They are a thing of natural beauty and commonly used as paperweights, doorstops and for decorative purposes in flower and rock gardens. Well, I'm GTTH (Gone To The House) for the day. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
