Danny, Kevin et.al., I have never seen this book. I have a copy of the 1982 "Tennessee County Histories, Cannon Co.", but it is not the same. I don't see how anyone could simply reprint the old 1936 book and then copyright a book that was never copyrighted, in the 1st place. ???? Jess Lewis
I will go ahead and make the rest of the List. I noted in the Book, it was taken from the Muster Rolls. I think it would be good for everyone to have. There is a lot of names in there. I have a good resource to use for Civil War Soldiers. I had planned on making the list, then posting it on here. Then use that list to research the history of those names. There are Pension Lists and also Prisioner Lists. I think Danny can tell you. I think it was John Reed. He was from Cannon County, captured and died at Rock Island, Illinois and is buried there. It would make a good refrence for everyone, so I will go ahead and do this. --- Jess Lewis <[email protected]> wrote: > Danny, Kevin et.al., > I have never seen this book. Eye Doc this morning said the eyes were bad agin, but does not restrict my use of the PC. Said probably the problems after I am on awhile is caused by dryness. Said I need to blink more and use fake tears and I would be OK. Kevin --- Kevin Morgan <[email protected]> wrote: > I will go ahead and make the rest of the List.
