There are always possibilities. John Morgan Sr had many sons. Since they followed the Cumberland River to come to Warren County. I have submitted my DNA to the " Morgan Surname DNA Project " under Allen Morgan. The basic 12 marker test for Males is $ 99.00. Before 1850, it is hard to associate families. The Head of the House was the only one listed in the Census. It takes time and knowledge to go to State and County sources to look up documents where names were listed in Wills, Land Sales, etc. This is where Carl did his best work. He went to Virginia and Illinois to obtain the information on John Sr and John Jr. I cannot tell you how much time and expense Carl has spent on this Book. I am bragging on this because I had only seen bits and pieces of it for the last three years. To see it all is just amazing. I think I am related to just about every family in Cannon County now. I could attend all the Family Reunions. Carl has donated thrre copies of the Book to the Libraries at Woodbury, Murfreesboro and McMinnville. You may wish to stop by and look at them. There are three volumes. Look like three phone books. There is a index in the back. Just go to Googlr and type the Morgan Surname DNA Project and it will come up.
