    1. Sarah C. Duke
    2. Linda, I have Sarah C. Dike married to William Van Haley. The 1880 census has Haley, William V. 19, Sarah C. 24, Isaac 10/12. In the 1900 census William V. Haley Dec. 1861, 38 is in Warren County. His wife is now Dora E. Feb. 1858, 42. There are 3 children Mary E. Aug. 1884 15, Willie G.Jun 1892, 7 and Nora Jan 1893 7. In 1910, William V. 51 is still in Warren County. His wife is listed as Ema D. 51. This must be the same person. The length of her present marriage is 20 years which would place their marriage about 1890. Sarah must have died some time before this. The Mary E. in the 1900 census would be her child. The other two children would belong to William and Dora. Sarah seems to have had the two children Isaac and Mary. I have found additional information on Isaac but not Mary. All of this information is in a book Our Morgan Family which is being published by Trafford and should be available next week at www.trafford.com Carl Davenport

    3. Carl - thanks for the information on the book. I haven't talked to Sam Wonders about the Morgan book - I assume we are talking the same book? I contributed what I have on the Duke family. I think the Morgan book is going to really bring new info to a lot of descendants and I'm looking forward to getting a copy.
