    1. Cannon Co. Cemetery Book Corrections
    2. Jess Lewis
    3. If you have a copy of our "Tombstone Records of Cannon Co.", please make the following corrections....... 1. Calvin P. Duke (1853-1935) was married to Nursie BASHAM on 2/20/1898 He was previously married to Sallie Simmons on 12/25/1881 2. Nursie (Narcissa) Duke (1876-1972) was married to Calvin (as above). Her parents were T.G. Basham and Margaret Gaither. Note of interest. Margaret (Gaither) Basham was apparently sick and died on 6/1/1880, after the census was taken. Nursie (Narcissa) and 2 other siblings were already living with grandparents, Arthur and Narcissa Gaither. Margaret Basham is buried in the Gaither Cemetery. You might also add her parents to her record in the same book. Jess Lewis
