> I don't know what happened to Joe, Some weeks ago I had a stroke in the lower half on my right eye --- no big deal except members of the medical community were absolutely certain that eye pressure could predict a 'major' stoke. I have been under almost constant blood pressure monitoring and all kinds of tests w/ little time for other things, which included orders to stay away from 'blood pressure exciters' such as the internet. Ironically, except for Type II diabetes, I am in excellent health, b/p on the low side of normal, weight, etc. in good shape... and to confound the MDs, most of my vision has returned. The real problem is that the hole in the back of my eye was a tad small! I traust all of us are planning to be in Cannon for a glorious Decoration Day, and we will arrange for some red eye gravy. Joe but you've got to tell me what Frog Eye > Gravy is. I'm very familiar with Thick'n Gravy (thickened gravy), and red > eye gravy, but that's the first I've heard of Frog Eye Gravy. Good to hear from you Joe ! Know all about that Diabetes and eye trouble. Every six weeks, the Dr numbs my eyes with drops for about 30 seconds and then takes a insulin syringe and injects Avastin in each eye. My sight goes out for about 30 minutes, but THANK GOD they have this. Without it, I would go blind. It is experimental, but it is restoring some of my sight. It is not approveeed by the FDA for the eyes yet. It is used in Colon Cancer. Take pictures of everybody down there. I still might make it down there this Fall. Kevin Morgan

Actually it is called red eye gravy. My aunt use to drop coffee in it and it looked like little frog eyes floating around the bottom. Drippings off of Country Ham. Who lives in Paris Texas ? I thought someone did ? Kevin

I do apologize for this message. I thought I was sending this to a friend's direct e-mail, didn't mean to send it to the list.. Betty Mc----- " --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Roger: Are these Campbells mentioned below some of yours? By the way, I took the books to Mark yesterday and told him to call me when he needed more. I'll bet he'll sell quite a few for you there, they're in a good spot. Bobby et al., You may be thinking of the Ready Family Cemetery, 1/5 mile Southeast of the point where old Hwy 70 crosses Stones River., at Readyville. It is in the front yard of the old Charles Ready homeplace. Charles Ready (1770-1852), his wife Mary (1773-1818) and a Lucinda Ready (1810-1830) This is very close to and may actually be in, Rutherford Co. I need to check & include it in the Cannon database, if it is actually in Cannon Co. Lots of Ready family buried just West of Readyville, in Ward's Grove Cemetery, along Hall's Hill Pike and behind Ward's Grove Church. This is in Rutherford Co. Jess Lewis
Robert Morgan told me about 30 years ago, there was a Cemetry on the corner of Tassey RD and Murfreesboro Pike that had overgrown. Said it was small. Might not be there anymore.
You're more than welcome Kevin for the Pics, that's not the cemetery I was wanting to find out about though. There's another one over in Readyville that I was told about, that supposedly has the Readyville founder buried there. I have been over that way once when I installed an internet satellite for a customer and he told me about it, but that was about 3 years ago, and my brain is slipping! Hey Jess, In your book there is only one Ready Cem., but I'm told there are several Ready family members including the founder of Readyville in one over that way. Do you know the name of that one? By the way, pictures form the wall of the post office do not count !
I think a Great Thing, is to take pictures at the Reunions and post them somewhere. Then add names etc. That way we can see people we might not know. Also if anyone gets pictures of their Ancestors they can share with others. You never know who is related to who and a picture might be Great for someone who might be looking for someone. Kevin Morgan
