    1. [TNCAMPBE] I need an expert opinion about an old court order

    3. I recently re-subscribed to Ancestry.com to check out the new Tennessee marriage records from 1780-2002. I found my grandparent's marriage record. It appears to be a log book with the heading "Marriage License Record, Campbell County, TENN." My grandparents were married in 1930. On the block where there marriage is recorded a notation that says Court Order 10-4-48 is also logged. Both grandparents are deceased so I cannot ask them. Does anyone know where and how I may be able to find out what that court order may have been? My grandfather's first name and my grandmother's middle name appear to have been added to the record after the original recording. My husband, who is not even into genealogy, came up with an excellent guess, but I would like to verify it if possible. His thought was that their full legal names had to be shown in order to apply for social security numbers. Can anyone help me? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks Charlene
