I believe Ellison's obituary is in the rootsweb archive. It appeared in the Knoxville and Campbell Co newspapers. His ancestral line goes back to Massachusetts, arriving ten years after the Pilgrims and then back to England, apparently in Yorkshire in the 1590s.
