    3. How nice for you to post this. I was just going over my family history for a reunion this weekend. Helen's father, Ewell Smith, is the son of John L. Smith and Kiziah Gibson. Kiziah is a sister to my 5th great grandfather, James Gibson. I am curious about the questions marks inserted. Would you be so kind as to explain them. I will be printing this to keep with my records and want to be sure to give credit for this information properly. I will use your email address as the source citation unless you tell me different. Is that ok? ----- Original Message -- From: angelameadows3@aol.com To: TNCAMPBE-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Sunday, July 13, 2008 12:02 PM Subject: [TNCAMPBE] Helen Smith Jordan Obit; 1964 Mrs. Helen Jordan, 87, of Van Buren, died Saturday morning at Mulberry after an extended illness.? 2. I'm not sure why the question marks were added....they should not be in the obit.? I am confused about this obit as they list her mother as Helen Ellison.? Marriage records for Ewel Smith are to Zephra Lawson on 10 Nov 1864, Campbell County, Tenn. (she is a distant cousin of mine)...According to ancestry records, which you can put a question mark to, Ewel Smith's mother was Helen Ellison....1880 Campbell County, Tenn. census has Helen Smith living with Ewel and Zephra.....
