Author: amsenger Surnames: Owens Owen Higginbotham Morrow Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.tennessee.counties.campbell/4659/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I am looking for any information on my gr.gr.grandfather STEPHEN NEE OWENS he was born 1801 in Kentucky and married Susannah Elizabeth Higginbotham in Wayne County Kentucky on 05-08-1820 she appears in many census records as being in Wayne Co. with their children, but he never appears in any. Land grants were given to him and his children in the 1850s around Wayne Co. Ky. I believe he may have died in 1859 but am not positive. Their daughter Nancy Ann Owens b.1830 Wayne co. married William "Billy" Morrow b.12-23-1828 Wayne co. are my great grandparents. Any help would be much appreciated.
