She was preceded in death by her husband; Odis A McGhee; parents, Richard and Partelia Adkins; sister, Emily Young. She is survived by her daughters; Mary Ellen Smith of Caryville, Kathy Disney of Jacksboro; sons, Herbert McGhee of LaFollette, Odell and Marvin McGhee, both of Jacksboro; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; sisters, Minephea McGhee of LaFollette and Reda Tackett of Jacksboro; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Jan 10, 2007 in the Cross Chapel with the Rev George Asbury officiating. Interment will be at 11 AM on Jan 11, 2007 in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
