I've found a few files on ancestry.com listing his parents as Richard Adkins and his wife Nancy, or Richard Adkins and his wife Rebecca Burrows. Anyone have any proof of any of that? Also...any new ideas on the wives of John Stanton Adkins WITH PROOF? I've been given a kajillion names over there years and don't know who is who or what is what! Listers, ???? I'm a little slow these days, as I don't have much time, but was wondering about the Adkins lines.? My line is as follows:? Lewis?(Louis)?Adkins, Milton (Mit), Robert (R.B.), Henry Houston (Buster), my father, and myself.? I have often thought that Lewis was a son of Richard and Nancy as I have found a Lewis living with Nancy in a census record.? I am at my mother's house, and my information is at my home, so I am not positive as to the year, but thinking 1860.? Does any of this tie into your lines?
